Our Adharwad – Mrs. Sangeeta Rajendra Bhagwat

At the heart of Adharwad stands a woman whose compassion and strength have become its foundation – Mrs. Sangeeta R. Bhagwat. She is the guiding force behind every initiative, every smile, and every life touched by Adharwad. Her selfless dedication, unwavering spirit, and tireless efforts have transformed Adharwad into more than just an old age home, it is a place of healing, dignity, and love.

Mrs. Bhagwat has devoted her life to serving those in need senior citizens without support, women seeking a new beginning, and children yearning for education. She leads not from behind a desk, but from the front-lines personally involved in the lives of every resident, every caregiver, and every program Adharwad runs.

The name Adharwad, meaning “a banyan tree” ( वाडाच झाड in Marathi), is symbolic. Just like a banyan offers shade, support, and shelter to many, Adharwad – under Mrs. Bhagwat’s leadership has become a strong, nurturing presence for the vulnerable and forgotten. Her work ensures that no one is left to struggle alone, and that every life is met with care, respect, and compassion.

Her dream is not just to care for the elderly, but to create a society where every human regardless of age, gender, or background has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope. Through her, Adharwad continues to grow, reach, and uplift, becoming a true pillar of humanity in Navi Mumbai and beyond.
